I live on a boat now, and sailed as a little kid, so it’s no wonder there are some nautical cards in the collection! Based on the sailboat my family had when I was about 8 (a San Juan 24 named Snipe), look to new horizons and celebrate upcoming milestone’s in your loved one’s lives. A new city, job, home, school, or even relationship? It’s all worth looking towards in celebration!
Hand printed on a Kelsey Excelsior Press which lives on our lifeboat, Luja. Unless clearly indicated, everything is designed and printed here on the water using Crane’s Lettra Cotton Paper. This 100% tree-free stock uses a by-product of the cotton industry to create a rich, pillow-y paper that is forest-friendly, too. Each card comes with a matching envelope in the same paper, and is packaged in a biodegradable sleeve made from plant-based materials.
Our press produces a near-kiss impression with subtle deboss, impressive detail, and rich imagery. Because each card is printed by hand, and each colour represents a new pass in the press, no two cards will be identical; they are truly miniature works of hand-made art. Shipping is a flat rate for up to 6 cards (cards 7–13 trigger a second flat rate, etc). Cards are packaged in sturdy boxes to keep them well-protected. If you would like to order, but live in a country not currently shown, please contact me and I’ll add your country to the list. I cannot currently ship to the EU due to GSPR regulations.
